Since their refurbishment and outdoor space now properly complete, Eat ‘N’ Mess has the top spot for us.

There is literally everything and anything you want and need: great coffee, tons of sweet and savoury choice, dietary-orientated options, huge amounts of outdoor space for warmer weather, tons of indoor space for the cooler weather, ample amount of space to park your bike and it’s in perfect location.

2. Bojangles Coffee House, Sevenoaks

It’s a no brainer really. This place literally inspired the article being written, with the charm and delight the Bojangles team bring. The food is excellent for a mid-ride snack, ranging from cakes to fully loaded New Yorker sandwiches, and coffees that keep you fuelled. It’s also in an excellent location in Dunton Green, just north of Sevenoaks. Perfect for cyclists heading back to London via the infamous Polhill climb.

3. Life on High, Sevenoaks

Life on High is a lively coffee house and deli that sits at the heart of Sevenoaks' bustling high street. The most bike-centric coffee stop near Sevenoaks, The Velobarn is technically in Westerham but is absolutely worth the extra 10km to indulge in their excellent coffee and cakes. As well as that, they have great cycling themed decor including Fred Wright’s British champion jersey.
